What are you afraid of?

Through my web site I offer seven free lessons to help people get started on their way to wealth and an abundant life. Yes, seven FREE lessons. Lessons with no strings attached.

My chosen purpose in life is to share with others the means by which they can learn to create their own world and enjoy an abundant life, and those seven free lessons were the ones that got me started on my way to wealth. I just wanted to pass on what I had learned so that others could enjoy what I now enjoy.

The interesting thing is that of the many hundreds of visitors to my web site, none has taken me up on that offer. NOT ONE!

I can’t help but wonder why.

Are you afraid that the offer is some kind of scam? (How can something that is free be a scam?)

Are you afraid that you might learn that wealth doesn’t come from your 9 to 5 job? (If you haven’t already figured that out you have my sympathy.)

Are you afraid that you might learn that you could have already been started on your way to a richer, fuller life, and rather than face that fact, have chosen to remain in your comfortable ignorance?

Here’s an interesting set of statistics taken from the US Bureau of Statistics.

If you take a random sample of 100 wage earning people and follow them through the normal 40 years of their working lives, at the end of that time you will find that:

1 - will be wealthy.
4 - will be financially secure.
5 - will continue working, not because they want to but because they have to!
36 - will be dead.
54 - will be dead broke - dependent on the meagre Social Security checks, relatives, friends and even charity for a minimum standard of living.

That means 5% successful, and 95% unsuccessful. That’s scary!

I am so happy and grateful that I have risen from the 95% to that top 1%, and I did it well after the age of 50!

So, what are you afraid of?

If I were you, I would be afraid of being in that 95% of all people who will be unsuccessful in life, because unless you change the way you do things, that’s where you are going to end up.

Individual coaching from Bob Proctor

Have I got news for you!

Several months ago I accepted an invitation from Bob Proctor, multi-millionaire and one of the world’s leading motivational speakers, to experience one-on-one individual coaching. Each daily session was a mere six minutes long, at a cost of less than $10.00 a week! This from a man who gets $12,000.00 from each person who attends a similar weekend seminar. Well, at first I was a bit sceptical, but he offered to coach me free for the first week, with a chance to back out at the end of that week. What did I have to lose?

What did I have to lose? I’ll tell you what I had to lose. Had I not accepted his offer, I would be $10,000.00 poorer right now! That’s right, $10,000.00. Let me explain.

At the very first six minute session I was asked to write down a goal to be achieved in 90 days. I put down that I would receive $10,000.00 in extra income from MSIs.

Well guess what? Ta da!!!!

So, ask me, will I do it again? You bet. Only the next time I won’t be setting my sights so low! On that you can bet your last dollar!

Oh, and what’s an "MSI" ? Well you’ll have to let Bob Proctor tell you that.

For the full scoop go to my web site and click on the banner, "The Most Incredible Six Minutes Of Your Life" which you will find near the bottom of the opening page. I guarantee, you won't be sorry.

Setting and Achieving Your Goals

Bob Proctor, author and speaker contends, “If you know what to do to reach your goal, it’s not a big enough goal.”

I think that needs an explanation!

Wallace Wattles, in his book, "The Science of Getting Rich", says we need to think and ask "largely".

Bob Proctor teaches that achieving a goal is a three step process. Esther Hicks says exactly the same thing.

Step one is to have your goal clearly envisioned in your mind. Wallace Wattles says that you must keep this picture in your thoughts with the fixed purpose to get what you want and the unwavering faith that you will get what you want. This is the “asking” step. It is up to you to complete this step.

Step two is the "answering" step. This is where the Law of Attraction comes into play. It is not up to you to do anything to complete this step. It is entirely up to The Universe! This is where having the unshakeable faith that your goal will be achieved comes into play. You may not know HOW you are going to achieve your goal. Indeed, you probably do not! The Universe will show you the way.

Step three is the "receiving" step. If your thoughts are in line with The Universe, if you are living and thinking in “The Certain Way,” which is by the laws of The Universe, you will recognize the answer when it comes, and you will already have taken the necessary action to receive it!

Incredible as it may seem, this is true for everything in your life! Everything!

When you need a turn-around.

John Assaraf, well known teacher from the movie The Secret, and author of the current best-seller The Answer, says, "If you have a positive thought your body actually goes into a positive vibration, you actually attract everything that resonates with that vibration."

A simpler, more easily understood description of The Law of Attraction would be hard to find.

The difficulty is in the making of positive thoughts. It’s not as easy as it seems.

Have you ever tried to "think positive" while in the deep, deep recesses of your being you actually feel that it can’t happen for you? I think it safe to say we all have had that experience – often! Unfortunately it is that deep feeling that is the real vibration you are sending out to the universe, and the results you get are, in Esther Hick’s words, "always a match – no exception."

It is difficult to be positive when surrounded by negativity. How do we get away from that?

Well, for me, I try to surround myself with people who are upbeat, energetic and forward thinking; people who have a positive outlook and a "can do" approach to everything. I don’t need negativity in my life and neither do you.

Every aspect of life is a learning experience from which positives can be drawn. Yes, every aspect has a positive side. I know it is difficult to see things that way all the time, but the more you try, the easier it gets to find those jewels.

The result can be a complete turn-around in your fortunes.

It works for me.

A Life of Abundance

In The Bishop's Voice column dated May 1997, entitled "Heaven’s Gate and the Death of Religion" Bishop John S. Spong, said, "The task of Christianity is not to provide security; it is to give us the courage to embrace life’s insecurity without surrendering our humanity."

He went on to say, "Insecurity is a mark of being human. No drug, including the drug of religion, should be allowed to take it away. God is not a name for the forces of the universe that stand ready to snuff out our frail humanity. God is the name of the Ground of all Being that is manifested when we discover the ability to live fully, the capacity to love wastefully and the courage to be in the face of the ultimate threat of non-being."

If, as Dr. Wayne Dyer states in his book, The Power of Intention, we are spiritual beings in a temporary human existence, the "ultimate threat of non-being" is non-existent! So it behoves us to seek a life of "fullness", and to acquire the capacity to love, in its truest sense, wastefully. And to do so one needs a life filled with abundance.

And where can one find that abundance?

Thanks to Wayne Dyer I no longer fear the threat of non-existence. And through The Abundant Life I am finding that abundance I so need to live fully and to love wastefully.

A Secret Power

Tom Blandi, Author, once said, “Our attitudes control our lives. Attitudes are a secret power working 24 hours a day for good or bad. It is of paramount importance that we know how to harness and control this great force.”

Dr. Wayne W. Dyer said basically the same thing. He said that the way you look at things changes the way things look.

That’s not as easy as it looks. You can choose either to be governed by what you see or to think the underlying truth and to govern yourself accordingly. In other words you can let circumstances dictate your life, which is what almost everyone does, or you can guide your thoughts to create your life the way you really want it to be. It is true, you do become what you think!

For the past year I have been studying Wallace Wattles’ book, The Science of Getting Rich, on a daily basis. At first thought it seems that the book is about money. Well, it is. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg. It is a book aimed at getting the reader oriented in thought to the higher purposes in life; service to humankind and the betterment of all who live on Planet Earth. Every paragraph in every chapter is filled with deep, thought provoking insight. It’s focus is the basis upon which, The Secret was made! It was the inspiration behind Rhonda Byrne’s highly successful movie about The Law of Attraction! It provides the tools needed to become the master of your thoughts; to become the creator of your destiny.

That secret power Tom Blandi refers to can be had by exercising the knowledge contained in Wattles’ book. Get it!

Poverty

Wallace D. Wattles opens his book "The Science of Getting Rich" with this statement: "Whatever may be said in praise of poverty, the fact remains that it is impossible to live a really complete or successful life unless one is rich."

If there ever was a way to start a book with a bombshell statement, this has to be it! I am sure we feel we are living very successful lives. By and large we are comfortable, have a decent home in a decent neighbourhood, and are bringing in enough money to keep body and soul together.

But to open a book and be told, in the very first sentence, that we cannot live a complete or successful life unless we are rolling in greenbacks must certainly make us sit up and take notice.

Yes, Wallace, you have my attention!

What is it to "live a really complete life"? It is to rise to your fullest possible height in mind, soul and body. And, it is to have all the things you can possibly use in doing so.

Now I am willing to bet that you do not have all the things you could possibly use in this life to make it better. I think we are all trying to do more, to earn more, to live better.

And these desires we have are more than wishful thinking. As Wattles says, "The desire for riches is simply the capacity for larger life seeking fulfilment; every desire is the effort of an unexpressed possibility to come into action. It is power seeking to manifest which causes desire."

If you have no desire to do more, to be more, and to live more you are probably dead. Truly!

That first sentence, alone, is rich with meaning and worthy of detailed thought and examination. And the rest of the book is exactly the same. Bob Proctor claims he has been studying the book for forty years and still gains new, meaningful material for his powerful seminars from it. And so it is.

We, too, would do well to follow Bob Proctor’s example and make the study of this little, sixty page, book a daily exercise.

Be Happy Now!

Earl Nightingale, Radio Announcer, Author and Speaker, once said, "Learn to enjoy every minute of your life. Be happy now. Don't wait for something outside of yourself to make you happy in the future. Think how really precious is the time you have to spend, whether it's at work or with your family. Every minute should be enjoyed and savored."

When you think about it, you can't influence your past. So, you cannot now make yourself happy in your past. Neither can you, right now, make yourself happy in your future. Both past and future are untouchable. You can only act in the present... right now... in the moment!

According to The Law of Attraction you become what you think. Now, if that doesn't give you a clue as to how to make yourself happy nothing will. Everything that happens in our lives -- yes, everything -- we have attracted. So, why not attract happiness -- now?
